Church Website Updates
May 3, 2011
- Bible Study
A new Bible Study section has been added, and will be updated as frequently as is possible. At current, this consists only of the Spring Holy Day series, but will be expanded as soon as it can be.
- Facebook Page
A new Facebook page is in the works. You will find a link to it on our links page, or you can search for "The Church of God Ministries International" from the Facebook search bar.
The page will eventually include photos of the ministers, basic information on holy days and locations they will be kept, as well as links to news and congregational information. If you have anything you wish to add, or have a holy day site you wish to have featured, let us know using the contact information to the left.

- New Layout
A new layout has been implemented. We have been working on this for a while, trying to create more ease of use while at the same time spicing up the site
just a bit.
A new navigation menu has been put in place, and after a few minor set backs and tweaks, it appears to be working fine. The new menu
combines related links, which compacts the navigation into a more manageable size.
The color and style of the site have also been changed, to provide a more relaxed feel, while still providing readability.
The main content of each page now scrolls independantly from the rest of the content, which adds to the ease of use.
Having the main content scroll by itself keeps all navigation and relevant headers in view, no matter what part of the content you are viewing.

- Weekly Broadcast Temporarily Suspended
The weekly live broadcast on the sabbath has been suspended temporarily due to technical difficulties. We will still attempt to have a broadcast
available for the holy days, however. Hopefully this issue will be corrected shortly, and we can resume sabbath services with you.

- Articles Completed
The articles page is now fully functional. (Links that previously had not worked, are working now). More articles may be added
at a later date, however, as we continue to receive them.
- Hymnal Overhaul
The hymnal has been overhauled to make the individual hymn pages simpler, and easier to access. A sheetmusic file has also been
included, in pdf format, for those wishing to print the sheet music for the hymns.

- More Articles Added
More articles have been added, along with a sidenote as to how many pages you can expect if you wish to print them. (Those articles
without these sidenotes are not yet uploaded). We have also added a new page to archive older newsletters, in case you have missed one.
More articles are coming soon! Hopefully this task will be complete sometime in the early new year. If you wish to read any of the
listed articles that are not yet complete, you may find them here.

- Live Broadcasting
We are doing our best to maintain a Sabbath broadcast at 9am EST each week, for those who cannot attend regular Sabbath services.
Though due to scheduling, or problems with software and server companies, there may be some days it does not operate. We appologize for
this in advance, and would like to remind you that you can still request free copies of sermons from the
Church Headquarters. (This page is an online request form currently
in its testing phase. If it does not work, please contact us with your request until the page works properly, and we will forward it on
your behalf).

- Online Hymnal Completed
Today we finished uploading the music and lyrics to all of the Dwight Armstrong hymns from the 1974 Bible Hymnal. Other hymns may be
added at a later date, but these are the vast majority. In future we plan to add a downloadable version of the hard copy of the hymnal.
Until then, enjoy these online versions.

- Website construction begins
Greetings to all of the brothers and sisters in Christ, and all of the visitors who are viewing this website. We hope that this website will help you
grow in the understanding of our Lord God and his son Jesus Christ. With the help of Tom Kerry, Bruce Chapman, Ian Hufton, and many more,
may you continue to grow in faith and spirit as you discover and rediscover the teachings of God's Word.
In the soon coming Kingdom, which God almighty has promised to all those who are baptized through his Holy Spirit, we will all be
living under a new government with Jesus Christ as our teacher. Until that time comes, we hope you will bookmark this site,
and visit often; we plan to have new material available on a regular basis.
